I was there when I was a kid. My family went ther for 3 days. I remember huge amount of lights everywhere, and very hot. The hotel room had air conditioning, so was cool inside.
Cool, yeah the best time to go is October to April, when the temps are bearable by ksstormhunter

We went there for just one night, and we had a great time. We stayed on the 24th floor of the MGM Grand where we could see all over town. My husband and I gambled $5 each in the casino (big spenders, aren't we!), and I won $50 which I still have! We went to dinner in one of the many restaurants in our hotel. Then we went by taxi to see Peter, Paul & Mary perform at another hotel. The room they performed in was very small, and everyone got to see them pretty close. We were in the back, and during the performance Peter came in the back door by us to listen to sound quality, and we thought that was pretty cool. We had to leave the next morning, but we had a lot of fun while we were there.

I been to it last year because of the Celine Dion show and it was amazing. I didn't win any money from the casinos though, but I like the shops, the shows and the M&M shops.

I have never beeen, but reaaly panning to in spring maybe. Flight tickets won't be too espenssive. And like they say, "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas".

Las Vegas is a fun place to visit. If you go during the weekdays you will pay less for hotel rooms. Also set a budget on how much you plan on gambling. If you plan on gambling.

I love Vegas. We just spent 6 days there in December and got married. I love the Strip and Freemont Street best. There is so much to do and see, that it is impossible to do it all in a short trip. The Tournement of Kings show at the Excalibur is fantastic, as is the erupting Volcano, the Belagio Light Show, and the Eifel Tower. My favorite thing was the four story M & M store though. LOL
