I've fallen victim of the survey scams where they say they are going to give you "point" or a gift card but in the end you have to spend more than the value of the gift card to even receive it. I'll never fall victim to those again!

well i avoid all sites that ask money to join up so i havnt really lost anything.and i have not been in a scam too.just get to read the FAQ before joining and you will know if its a scam or for real.

I've gotten scammed by someone on ebay, a hyip site, and another few money-making sites. Now i'm a lot wiser as to what oppurtunities i take up.

I certainly have and I try to learn from each and every experience I have so that it will take more to suck me in.
I try to do as much research as I can on the product or programs first and I definitely use google to find any reference to a scam or fraud attached to their name.

yes, I do! I have been in the trap of many scam programs online, and wasted too much time! I hate all the scams.
Now I only believe in three programs---duno,mylot,and payposter! I don't wanna waste my time to work for those scams.
Now I won't join any program until I am sure its credit. I usually seach with google to see if there are some complaiments on that program, then make a decison.

No, never have.
A couple of ways to protect yourself:
- Check out sites like Snopes (linked here)
- when in doubt, google the program you are interested in, paired with the words "suck" or "scam." You'll get back results that include first-hand experiences with the company.

After having warned friends and family for years about PayPal email scams, I actually almost fell for one. Luckily it was on a secondary account I have, and the information I had divulged was minimal. Also, I realized my folly the instant I pressed the SUBMIT button, so I IMMEDIATELY changed my affected passwords.
This was a few years ago now and I have yet to see any suspicious activity.

As of now I feel like one of the victim of an online job which is ad posting. I was very amazed of the possible earnings they offered last year so I can't help myself registering and be a member and payed about $70 bucks! I have reached the minimum pay out now but still haven't got my check because of those payments they want us to pay. I am so mad about it.

I have never been the victim of an internet scam. I'm sure the longer someone uses the internet the chance of that happening is greater. There are many scammers out there and the numbers are increasing everyday.

I always do a Google + Yahoo search about a site I want to join, to see what people say about it, if they got paid, etc. If many say it's scam, I don't join it.
