debbie | Wow. It sounds like your Rudy excerpt response to the question "Who was Rudy Valentino" was written by James Quirk nephew of Larry Quirk. If this is the case, Larry is NOT to be trusted. I just got done going on Amazon.com. You can type in the name Lawrence Quirk under the Books category. Most reviewers of his books on such stars as Paul Newman, Joan Crawford(he bashes her daugter and had a crush on Joan)find Larry Quirk mean spirited and Larry gives no proof to what he says. Not even when he says it comes from his brother is it to be believed because he is subjective, arrogant, speculative and seems to dislike certain celebrities for no reason. |

You need to show me some proof about where you get your information. Plus, at the end, i thought it was mean of you to say that Rudy would not have made it into talkies, and that it was good that he died when he did. Mean thing to say. I prefer to hear an actor speaking the lines in a film with his/her own voice rather than to read them on a screen! Also, i don't think Rudy would have liked your article talking about him being homosexual. It being true or not. I would think Rudy would have got upset with you like he did with the Chicago newspaper guy. So, you are not being a friend of Rudy. Sorry. This is how i see it. So, parts of your article appear bizarre and inaccurate with no proof. |
