Women are expected to put on make-up before leaving the house in most cultures around the world. Somehow over the years it was decided that women needed help with making their faces presentable, but that men were fine just the way they were. I'm assuming here that it was men who made up this silly rule.

I am not really used to putting make up on my face, maybe just a lipstick or a blush on. Women puts make up to add more glow on their cheeks, they apply concealers to hide those flaws like eyebags. They also apply some foundation to hide those wrinkles. After that they will look beautiful and thanks to make up technologies.

To look more attractive and make the most of what you've got, for example if you've got nice eyes, a little makeup can make them look great. Also to hide less-than-perfect bits like shadows under the eyes or spots. If you look better, you feel better, and lets face it, most women do look better with a little makeup on.

Its a part of personal grooming for them. Just like shaving is for guys. We all want to look smart fresh and beautiful. Rightly applied makeup can make you look radiant. Guys you do notice women if she is attractive , lol.
